What a magickal day! Not only is it Friday, but it’s 7/77 for me! Season 7 / Day 77 of my 100 Day Reality Challenge!! Hooray!! Slight downer is I’m still in the hospital and it’s looking like I’ll be spending the night again, but, I’ll go take a walk and see if I can find a good view of the moon just in case I’m here tomorrow night too! I don’t want to miss the supermoon!!
Today I Am Grateful:
1: For the wonderful RNs and PCTs I’ve had during my stay
2: For the doctors trying to figure out what was/is causing my pain… I’m glad they’re not just slapping a diagnosis on me just to give it a name before sending me home
3: That my husband has been such a trooper during all of this while dealing with so much pain of his own. He’d gotten a tooth extracted Tuesday before bringing me to the ER. He’s not taken the pain meds as much as he would like to, but he’s trying to stay clear-headed for me. I Love You Baby!! Thank You for being here for me!
4: That my friends have been rallying for me on facebook, posting thoughts and prayers for me, sending me messages to help keep my spirits up. Thank You Everyone!!
5: For the beautiful sunset view out of my hospital room window… what spectacular colours!! blues and oranges and pinks and purples… lovely!!
6: For the delicious food I’ve been able to enjoy – the herbed chicken breast has been heaven on my tongue! The salads have been filling and tasty and the fruit has helped cure my sweet tooth! Today I treated myself to a slice of apple pie for dessert at lunch… yummy!
7: For the words “I Love You”… even though they don’t always do justice to the way I feel, they at least give me something to say!
8: For feeling so blessed even being stuck in the hospital still…
9: For finding wonderful sites to read inspirational things that set my mind spinning with thoughts and possibilities!!
10: For looking forward to Happiness Week with a whole new appreciation!!
We are the creative force of our life,
and through our own decisions
rather than our conditions,
if we carefully learn to do certain things,
we can accomplish those goals.
