Exercise for the Mind and Body

  • Taking a great workshop on Saturday in Visual Journaling and learned some new ideas and techniques. Very exciting!
  • Making that spur-of-the-moment decision to spend some time to feed my creativity, instead of spending a Saturday afternoon battling traffic and running errands.
  • Taking a 5-mile walk with a friend on Sunday. It was a lovely crisp morning, good conversation, and welcome exercise.
  • Feeling a little sore on Monday after the walk – tells me that I pushed hard on Sunday but not too hard.
  • Gray dreary days. For some reason, I find them good days for percolating ideas.
